With critically acclaimed works, the Prime Video series has piqued the interest of all fans of good television.
From great comedies to dystopian dramas, the platform has a wide catalog to take advantage of.
If you haven’t subscribed yet, here’s how to do it. Then you can go through this list with the Prime Video series that is worth watching.
1. The boys
Based on the comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, this space takes a new look at superheroes, with a complete change compared to the Marvel adaptations.
With a closer look at what was seen in the film and the series inspired by The Watchmen, the famous cartoon by Alan Moore, The Boys was ranked as one of the great surprises of 2019.

Different professional experiences that lead to the leading roles in Wolf like me: nobody is perfect, but under the most sentimental profile, since even though the Prime Video series is presented as a dramatic comedy, it is this last genre that guides its plot with various installments of black humor.
These roles are those of Mary and Gary, Americans who have been living in the Australian city of Adelaide for a few years, although without knowing each other. But fate has prepared a violent encounter for them, since one morning when Gary goes to school with his daughter Emma (Ariel Donoghue), they suffer an accident.
This is caused by Mary aboard her Jeep and causes the car of the widower and father of a family to be quite dented. However, the occupants of it are unharmed and that same afternoon they receive a visit from Mary at her house, since she wants to know how they are doing and gives a book to Emma, with whom she connects easily.
What soon happens with the widower, who is surprised that the newcomer communicates so well with his daughter since the girl hardly speaks to him. At the beginning of a relationship in which each one comes with serious problems: the loss of his wife to Gary and a dangerous change that affects Mary.
3. The Office (US)
Based on the British show of the same name, The Office (US) became one of the most beloved shows by American audiences, with 10 seasons of pure comedy.
With a cast led by the terrific Steve Carell, alongside terrific comedic actors and actresses like Rashida Jones, John Krasinski, BJ Novak, Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson, and Jenna Fischer.
They all live together in an office full of strange and unforgettable characters at the same time.
Most notable, though, are the characters of Michael Scott (Steve Carell), the awkward and awkward office boss, and his co-workers Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson).
4. Funny little stories

5. Wild
The most recent of the must-see Prime Video series is The Wilds, created and produced by Sarah Streicher, who until now had made a name for herself as a writer for cable shows like Daredevil and is now making a creative leap with a title designed for the young public, but that manages to go beyond its target group.
Its protagonists are Fatin, Dot, Martha, Rachel, Shelby, Nora, Toni, and Leah, eight teenagers traveling on a private plane to a resort in Hawaii, where they would be part of The Dawn of Eve program, which would help them overcome the different conflicts they face.
But the journey comes to an abrupt end when the aircraft experiences technical problems and plummets into the sea. Then, the young women arrive on a desert island where they try to survive.
A story that at first compares Savages with the symbol of television survival, Lost, and then presents the viewer with a plot that establishes its path with creativity and good performances by its entire cast.
6. The Wheel of Time
After several projects that did not come to fruition, Sony Pictures Television and Prime Video teamed up to finally bring to the screen the famous literary saga The Wheel of Time, by the American Robert Jordan, which had already inspired video games, an RPG, and various heavy metal songs.
The fantastic story in a more synthesized way was transformed into the eight chapters that make up the first season of the homonymous series, which begins with the introduction of the main female figure in space: Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike ), the Aes Sedai of the Ajah Blue who has a great mission ahead of him.
This is to find the “chosen one”, who will become the Dragon Reborn, the person capable of controlling the One Power, having in his hands the possibility of saving the world or putting it before the destruction of which he was already a victim in the past. 7. Little Fires Everywhere
In this new series from actress Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine, it’s all luxury. This is because, in the eight chapters of Little Fires Everywhere, you will see what some supposed exemplary mothers hide.
It all starts when journalist Elena Richardson (played by Witherspoon) meets her new neighbor, Mia Warren (Kerry Washington), an artist traveling from city to city with her teenage daughter.
Both represent two different worlds, either in the way of conceiving motherhood, parenting, and the role of women in society. So much so, that in their first encounters they make an effort to remain calm in the face of their differences, which will later ignite with just a spark.
In its eight chapters, you will enjoy the performances of this entire cast, the one that moves between passivity and violence, and the ideas of equity and racism.
8. This is Us
In the Prime Video catalog, there are also good productions that are not original to the platform.
Like This is us, with awards at the Emmys, Actors Guild, and Golden Globes, among others.
It focuses on siblings Kevin, Kate, and Randall and their family history, especially the death of their father, with extensive use of flashbacks to learn more about them.
With great performances from Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, and Justin Hartley, this series has become one of the most moving in recent times.
On Amazon Prime Video you can find its five seasons, between 18 and 19 chapters each.
In addition, in its scriptwriters, it has 30% African-American writers, much more than the average 5% that most productions have, according to the IndieWire medium.
9. Dr. House
With a great fanatic, the eight seasons of Dr. House transformed it into a flagship of the series that began this new millennium.
Broadcast between 2004 and 2012, for many this is one of the best series in history, especially for the great performance of Hugh Laurie as Dr. House.

The homonymous novel by Roberto Saviano, ZeroZeroZero, is the basis of this series that allows us to know a monumental story about cocaine trafficking, through three continents.
Throughout its episodes, it shows how drug trafficking develops in the 21st century, where producers and buyers are involved, and intermediaries also play a key role: in this case, the shipping company in charge of transporting it.
The latter is the company of Edward Lynwood ( Gabriel Byrne ), which is located in New Orleans and is also run by his eldest daughter Emma ( Andrea Riseborough ). Across the Atlantic, there is another key family: the one headed by mafia boss Don Minu ( Adriano Charamida ), who to consolidate his power in Calabria, orders several tons of coca from his producers.
That is precisely the starting point of the story, which moves from Italian soil to Mexico, where some brothers control the Monterrey cartel but are closely followed by the army.
11. How I Met Your Mother
This comedy released in 2005 became one of the favorite modern series for much of the world.
With nine seasons, the story of Ted Mosby ( Josh Radnor ), who tells his children how he met his mother, left traces in followers.
That happened for several things, but above all having a gallery of memorable characters, from Marshall ( Jason Segel ), Ted’s best friend and completely immature lawyer, to Lily ( Alyson Hannigan ), a dedicated friend, but short of genius.

One of the best comedies of recent years is the successful Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series, which you can find on this streaming service.
Original from Prime Video, it has been a success among fans and critics, with awards such as Best Comedy Series at the 2018 Emmys or Best Series or Musical at the 2019 Golden Globes.
Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, famous for Gilmore Girls, it is an excellent fast comedy where every two seconds you will have jokes that guarantee laughs.
