Windows 11: How to download the trial version safely?

A few days ago, Kaspersky presented a report claiming that some cybercriminals are distributing malware through supposed installers of Windows 11 , Microsoft’s new operating system .

According to the cybersecurity company, people who download this fake executable will end up infecting their computers, since the file aims to install (without anyone noticing) various malicious codes.

Can Windows 11 be installed?
Maybe you don’t know, but Microsoft released a trial version of Windows 11 that can be downloaded from an official website. In this way, you will avoid downloading some deceptive program that will only bring you headaches.

To download the beta, you will first need to create a Microsoft account. Enter this link and register using an existing email from Google, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail or another service.

Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to visit the Windows Insider page (you can find it here ) and sign up for the program. If you are accepted, you will be able to test the Windows 11 beta which will arrive as an update.

However, you must bear in mind that this new operating system asks you for several requirements for its installation to be successful. For example, you must have the Windows 10 license , TPM 2.0, among others that we will detail:

1 GHz or faster processor with two or more compatible 64-bit cores
4 GB RAM memory
64 GB internal storage
DirectX 12 / WDDM 2.x compatible graphics card
At least 9-inch screen with HD resolution (720p)
Secure Boot.
