1. Review audio notes before sending them

Surely it has ever happened to you that you send an incomplete audio or that you simply need to re-record but by mistake, it was sent ahead of time. Users can now lock voice messages, all you have to do is press and hold the record button as you normally do, there is only one difference, you have to move your finger up, towards the drawing of a padlock.

But the phone will continue recording even if you remove your finger, to stop the recording you just have to click on the “pause” symbol, when it has stopped, you can listen to it and decide whether you want to send it or delete it.

2. Temporary messages

If what you want is to keep your privacy to the maximum, this function will surely be of great use to you. Now WhatsApp has the option to send temporary messages, which are automatically deleted after a while.

One of the advantages is that this function can be activated in the chats that you want only, for this you must click on the upper part of the chat that you choose, look for the “temporary messages” option, in that tab three options will appear: messages that will expire in 24h, in a week or in 3 months.

3. Photos and videos that can only be viewed once

This tool is very useful for sending images and videos that you don’t want to be stored on the receiving person’s device, but there is always the option of having the other person take a screenshot of what you sent.

If this function is activated, when attaching a photo or a video, a “1” will appear inside the writing bar, if you click on it, the photo or video will be configured so that it can only be seen once.

4. Photo quality

This is one of the main problems faced by WhatsApp users, which is used to save your contacts the trouble of having to delete all the photos you send them because they “weigh” too much.

To configure the quality of the images you must:

• Go to the top right of the application and click on the three dots.
• Select the “Settings” option and click on “Storage and data”.
• It will give you the option “Photo upload quality”, where you can select the default quality that the photos you are going to send will have: “Automatic”, “best quality” and “data saving”.

5. Use WhatsApp on multiple devices
