iPhone SE 2022: leaked tentative price and it is as low as it is tempting

In theory, we would be weeks away from Apple finally officially presenting its iPhone SE 2022, whose tentative name not yet confirmed would be iPhone SE+ 5G.

There has been much speculation about this device, which would, in theory, relieve and bury the mini line that apparently never achieved the commercial success desired by the guys from Cupertino.

The biggest and strongest leak that has emerged around the device is exhibited in the name, with its supposed support for 5G networks. But everything else related to the device is an absolute mystery, although there are some renders here and there with supposedly reliable conceptual images.

Although to be honest the maximum that is always had in this type of scenario is the final price of the phone.

This is always a closely guarded secret, but it seems that Apple has just suffered a leak in that disturbing area.

This would be the price of the iPhone SE + 5G 2022

Macworld colleagues have published a disturbing article, based on an Investor’s Business Daily report, quoting Loop Capital Markets analyst John Donovan, who claims to have heard rumours that the 2022 iPhone SE could be priced as low as USD. $300.

This figure is high for an entry model of a high-end or medium-high range family. But if we consider that the last SE model was launched on the market at a price of USD $399, this rumour would be more than striking.

If all this turns out to be true, Apple would cut almost USD $100 from the price of its iPhone SE 2022, incidentally integrating the novelty of support for new generation 5G networks. The sum of both factors, without a doubt, would make it an attractive phone for consumers.

There is the detail that in the Android territory, for the price range of USD $300, it is possible to find high-powered smartphones with more than interesting technical specifications.

But the price cut would still be an interesting move to finish convincing those who are evaluating to try the experience of the iOS environment and other Apple products.

Although it should be noted that all this is a leak arising from a report by a financial analyst based on a rumour.

Therefore it is essential to take with absolute reservations the possibility of Apple lowering its prices in this way.
