Google Chrome comes with new features for Android, including dark theme and zoom

Version 96 of Chrome for Android has brought new options for the browser. Among them, two experimental functions stand out: a new option for the dark theme and a new zoom.

Both functions seek to improve the user experience when browsing the internet, and here we will show you how you can use them optimally and take advantage of their functions.

Dark theme

To activate this function, the following steps must be carried out:

1. You must enter the Google Chrome icon and place in the navigation bar: “Chrome: // flags”.
2. Then the new function must be activated: “Force Dark Mode for webconten”.
3. Once the option is activated, you must restart the browser to find the mobile device option.

Once activated, we will automatically see the web pages in a dark theme, where the light backgrounds change to black and gray colors so as not to disturb the view.

In the web browsing tabs, we will find the new theme, which allows us to activate or deactivate whenever we want.

New Zoom

The second experimental function also has a series of simple steps:

1. Place in the web navigation bar “Chome: // flags”
2. Activate the function ”Enable access to the Zoom page
3. After restarting the smartphone, we will see that the padlock icon in the address bar changes the text and images of a website independently.
