First impressions of the Moto G7 Plus – Good Phone but Conservative

This week the new product range Moto G7 was presented, and we have already seen them and get a first impressions of the most powerful terminal of all advertised. We tell you what stands out and calls the attention of Moto G7 Plus .

The first thing you have to say is that these smartphones are somewhat conservative , and it seems that the company owned by Lenovo has not wanted to take excessive risks in these devices intended to have significant sales. Aesthetically the Moto G7 Plus is very recognizable, something that is not bad, since the rear hardly has variations with respect to the telephones that substitute in the market. Of course, the front clearly highlights the inclusion of a notch type drop of water .

The fingerprint reader stays in the back area – there is facial recognition, but not very advanced -, as well as a circular element that houses the cameras and stands out in front of the rest of the case. By the way, the entire Moto G7 range comes with USB type C ports and, in addition, it does not lack the headphone jack, which is good news for a good number of users. A final detail, there is protection against splashes in the Moto G7 Plus.

A complete hardware, but without risks
This is what has become clear to us when reviewing the components of the new Moto G7 Plus range . An example of what we say is the choice of the Snapdragon 636 processor , which are combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 gigabytes of storage in the terminal. True, it is complete, but to break the market the ideal would have been to use the Snapdragon 710, to give an example.

Another detail in which you could make a higher bet is on the battery, since the amperage of this is 3,000 mAh , a mark that could be better considering the dimensions of your screen (yes, the fast charge of 27 W we think it’s good news). The panel is 6.2 inches IPS with Full HD + quality, dimensions that fit in what is currently common in Android devices and, the truth is that it does not look bad. By the way, this component has Gorilla Glass protection .

Good in connectivity, by the way, since it does not lack neither NFC nor Dual SIM -even, integrates FM radio-. There are also no problems in the software, since it uses practically pure Android Pie, so there is no bloatware . Good additional news: the Moto G7 Plus includes stereo sound that is compatible with Dolby.

Finally we must mention that the camera that includes the Moto G7 Plus integrates two sensors, and more than talking about the technical data we leave below some examples of the photos we have made in Sao Paulo with the device. They are the following ones (we already advanced to you that, in principle, in this section it points good manners the smartphone):
