Passengers narrate the horror they felt in the forced landing of a plane at Miami airport

At Miami International Airport (MIA), after having the most terrifying experience of their life, the passengers of the aircraft that they were flying on cannot stop talking about the terrifying moments that occurred during the emergency landing of the jet that they were on.

Mauricio Davis, a resident of Weston, recalled the shouts and terror of passengers when he spotted the flames on Tuesday night and told the Miami Herald that many were “horrified.” “People were terrified,” Davis said. Davis was traveling back from Venezuela when he stopped in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to catch his connecting aircraft.

According to Davis, several passengers were clinging to their seats in order to prevent accidental collisions. After having trouble with the landing gear, the RED Air airliner made a safe arrival at Miami International Airport. The aircraft skidded down the runway until it stopped, at which point it released a cloud of smoky exhaust into the air.

On Wednesday, investigators from the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will go to the airport to investigate the accident.

Paola Garcia told the media who were gathering at the airport that she “felt I was going to die,” and she later told WSVN that she believed the jet was going to explode.

According to statements made to Local10 and Miami Herald news partner CBS4, passengers on board Flight 203 said that the aircraft experienced tremendous turbulence, which resulted in the shattering of glass and the ignition of one of the wings.

Violeta Torres, a 92-year-old grandma, shared her terrifying experience with Univision 23 by saying, “I was really afraid.” Torres said that she was injured when she fell while attempting to flee. She had a bandage wrapped over her knee. Every single one of the ship’s 126 passengers made it out alive. There were three persons brought to the hospital with very minor injuries.

At the airport, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava of Miami-Dade County made the comment that what had occurred was a “real miracle.” The mayor emphasized that the emergency response personnel were to the jet in about one minute and fifteen seconds.
