In addition, he assured today that he had spoken by phone with the president of the United States, Joe Biden, who would have promised him “international support.”

Just a minute ago I had a phone conversation with President Biden. The United States has already begun to marshal international support for Ukraine

Zelensky mentioned.

The Ukrainian ambassador to the Security Council of the United Nations Organization (UN), Sergiy Kyslytsya, said that Russia must “stop the war”.

For his part, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitri Kuleba said that Ukraine will defend itself from the large-scale invasion that Russia has just announced and that it will win.

Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under attack. This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend and win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now

Ahead of the implementation of Martial Law , Ukraine declared a state of emergency and asked its citizens in Russia to leave the country, while Moscow began to evacuate its embassy in Kiev.

Putin launches a major military operation in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a military operation in Ukraine and urged that country’s soldiers to lay down their arms, defying global calls to avoid war.

In a message on national television, he warned that whoever tries to intervene in the conflict will have consequences “never experienced in its entire history.”

He assured that Russia cannot feel safe, develop and exist with the constant threat coming from the Ukrainian territory.
