The best universities in Poland. There is a new leader

The ranking was prepared for the 23rd time by the “Perspektywy” Educational Foundation. They are supervised by the chapter headed by prof. Michał Kleiber. The list includes four rankings: Ranking of Academic Universities, Ranking of Private Universities, Ranking of Public Vocational Universities, and Ranking of Study Fields.

The University of Warsaw took first place in the Ranking of Academic Universities, obtaining 100 percent, in the ranking index.

The second place was taken by the last year’s winner of the ranking, the Jagiellonian University (ranking index 99.4), and the third – was by the Warsaw University of Technology (ranking index 84).

The fourth-place ex aequo was taken by the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

The following places were taken by: Gdańsk University of Technology, ex aequo Gdańsk Medical University and the Wrocław University of Technology, Medical University of Łódź and ex aequo Wrocław University and Łódź University of Technology.

The Kozminski University in Warsaw again won the Ranking of Private Universities (ranking index 100). The second place was taken by the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (81.9), and the third by the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza (72.8).

The State University of Applied Sciences was at the top of the Ranking of Public Vocational Universities. Jana Pawła II in Biała Podlaska (ranking index 100). The second ex aequo place was taken by the Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża and the Academy of Applied Sciences in Tarnów.

This year’s Ranking of Study Fields rated 73 fields of study. The preparation of this ranking was preceded by the so-called great calibration.

As the list of fields of a study conducted at Polish universities includes as many as 1693 of them, the “Perspektywy” Educational Foundation, together with universities, assigned these studies to the most popular majors or groups of majors subject to ranking assessment.

Among the universities offering the best studies in Poland, the first place is the University of Warsaw, which offers as many as 20 such studies, followed by the Warsaw University of Technology (16 courses) and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (14 courses).
