One of the nine prosecuted for the femicide of Abril Pérez Sagaón confessed to having murdered the 49-year-old woman in exchange for a payment of 180,000 pesos offered by the victim’s ex-husband, Juan Carlos “N”, who is a fugitive from Justice.
The foregoing was announced today at an intermediate hearing that took place in the Prison East, where Rodolfo Daniel “N” declared before the Control judge that he deprived April of his life after shooting him twice on November 25, 2019.
In the same judicial act, another of the accused confirmed his participation in the crime and explained that they paid him five thousand pesos to use his taxi as a “wall” during the femicide.
At the end of the hearing, Héctor Pérez, the victim’s lawyer, pointed out that after Rodolfo Daniel “N” confessed his crime, he apologized to the April family.
He said he had nothing personal against April, that she did it for money. The ex-husband Juan Carlos “N” offered him 50 thousand pesos if he did it on the 25th (of November) because that day he had a hearing (April) “, he indicated.
This is the first hearing to be held around the case because he was detained due to an injunction filed by Rodolfo Daniel “N” himself.
According to the formulation of the imputation of the Attorney General of Justice of Mexico City, 10 people would have participated in the femicide, including the ex-husband of the victim, who is the last to be arrested.
