Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of senior Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, will join the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) on Wednesday. Aparna Yadav will take the membership of the party at 10 am on Wednesday in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya . Haryana BJP IT cell head Arun Yadav has stamped this news. BJP leader has informed by tweeting that Aparna Yadav, wife of Mulayam Singh’s younger son Prateek Yadav, is going to join BJP tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 am in the presence of Yogi ji.

Aparna Yadav contested the 2017 assembly elections from the Cantt seat of Lucknow. This Samajwadi Party candidate lost to BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi. However, Aparna had secured around 63 thousand votes. On the other hand, this seat fell vacant after Rita Bahuguna Joshi became an MP, on which the by-election was held in 2019 in which BJP had won and Suresh Chand Tiwari became MLA for the fourth time. The screw about this seat is that Rita Bahuguna is demanding a ticket for her son from this seat. The discussion is also that there are some other claimants from here. If sources are to be believed, BJP wants to change Aparna’s seat, but agrees to contest her.

Akhilesh had campaigned!

Aparna is the wife of Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh and half-brother of Akhilesh Yadav. Aparna contested the 2017 assembly elections from Lucknow Cantt seat on a Samajwadi Party ticket. Akhilesh Yadav had also campaigned for him. The BJP had won this seat in the by-elections held after Joshi was elected MP.
