Bhangarh Fort, the haunted place that cannot be visited at night

It is known as one of the cursed homes in India, which is why the Government has banned entry after dark and before dawn; here is why

INDIA – Full of mysteries and curiosities that never cease to amaze, this is India, which has a great diversity of destinations to leave its visitors speechless, one of these is the Bhangharh Fort, considered as the haunted place.

This destination has been considered over the years as the most haunted place in the place, a mystery that is prohibited from entering between dusk and dawn, even by the government of India itself, which is strictly prohibited.

It is located on the edge of the Sariska Forest, in Rajasthan, where its Gopinath, Shiva, Mangla Devi, and Keshava Rai temples stand out. What is enigmatic is its fort, built-in 1613 and separated from the surrounding plain by walls with five gates.

Bhangarh Fort, the “haunted” place that cannot be visited at night

When visiting, there is a huge sign at its entrance that reads in Hindi: “Entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited”. Not only this, but it also reveals that: “Legal action will be taken against anyone who does not follow these instructions”.

This place is the only “legally haunted” in the world, so much that it is endorsed and recognized by the Government of India, but the most curious of all is its history. Here we tell you the reason behind it.

According to legend, the city was cursed by Guru Balu Nath, who would have allowed the construction of the city under only one condition: that the shadow of the city could never overshadow his own home, otherwise it would cease to exist forever.

Disregarding Guru’s warnings, a young prince built a huge palace next to him that cast all his shadow over the place, which angered him and decided to curse that town, according to, to this day, it is still cursed.

Despite the fact that it may be one of many of the legends that exist about the place, the Hindus decide to respect this commandment and avoid making a mistake when visiting it, because they fear that the curse will pass towards them or they do not really know what it is. What would happen to challenge The Fort of Bhangarh?
