Coronavirus in Argentina: 46,045 new cases and 84 deaths were registered in the last week

The report from the Ministry of Health confirmed 46,045 new infections of covid-19 in the last seven days. With these records, there are 9,276,618 cases since the pandemic began. In addition, 84 new deaths of coronavirus patients were registered, bringing the number of fatalities in the country to 128,973.

In the province of Buenos Aires, 22 deaths were detected in the last week, and in the City of Buenos Aires, 16 deaths.

There are currently 344 people hospitalized in Intensive Care Units: ICU beds are occupied by 43.1 percent nationwide.

Three weeks after the Minister of Health of the Nation, Carla Vizzotti confirmed the beginning of the fourth wave of Covid-19 infections, Argentina added 46,045 infections reported in the last seven days. In addition, the national Ministry of Health reported 84 deaths from coronavirus. This figure represents 11.7% fewer cases than last Sunday when 51,778 new positive coronavirus patients were reported.

The confirmed cases of Covid-19 throughout the country amount to 9,276,618, while the deaths officially registered at the national level rise to 128,973. The health portfolio, in addition, indicated that there are 344 internees with coronavirus in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sector, for all pathologies, of 43.1% in the country.
