I think that when people see the film, just like in life, there is nothing that defines any character, ”explained Kevin Feige at a recent press conference. “Like Xochitl said, America is a 14-year-old girl who realizes this traumatic element of her life, and it’s not the LGBTQ issue, it’s the fact that they keep throwing her through the Multiverse multiple times. We wanted to be honest with it and show it, and that’s not what the movie is about, but she’s an important part of the character that she becomes in the comics. We wanted to deal with this topic

In Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness, America Chavez is introduced early on and can be seen wearing an LGBTQ flag pin throughout the film, but it is later revealed that she is the daughter of two mothers she lost. when she was scared as a child and opened a gap to other multiverses.
