Benefits Of Carboxytherapy

Carbomed Cdt Carboxytherapy: Medical device for Carboxytherapy certified by the European Union (Law 93/42 class CE0051 IIb) and by the Ministry of Health.

The new therapeutic method with CDT Evolution® have an electronic sensor (patented), which is capable of neutralizing this resistance in order to keep the amount of induced gas constant. Which is very important so that the data can be reproducible and thus obtain consistent results.

It controls the purity and quantity of the gas, as well as the rate of administration. The automatic regulation of the physical characteristics of the induced gas: heat, humidity and gas activation, makes it possible to obtain better and faster results and, above all, to eliminate any possible pain during the treatment .

Thanks to these new technical characteristics and the new CDT programs, it is now possible to also do anti-aging therapies on the face, neck and décolleté, as well as treatments against alopecia, in addition to the already known treatments for body remodeling, cellulite, flaccidity and stretch marks .

It can be used in several areas : Sports Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Analgesic Therapy, Dermatology, Gynecology, Andrology, Phlebology and Aesthetic Medicine.

The carbon dioxide , gas colorless and odorless, a part of the air we breathe, is administered into the dermis through fine needles 13 mm. Scientific studies show immediate vasodilation , mechanical reopening of the microcirculation and increased tissue oxygenation. It breaks down the membrane and stimulates the production of collagen fibers making the skin more elastic, shiny and youthful.

Carboxytherapy is a new non-surgical beauty technique that is used to treat varicose vein problems, to reduce cellulite and sagging skin , and it is also responsible for eliminating resistant accumulations of fat. Carboxytherapy uses carbon dioxide or CO2 , which since the 1930s has been used to treat stretch marks, cellulite and hypertrophic scars. This waste gas is produced naturally by humans, all animals on earth and also plants.

Its medical use is totally safe as demonstrated in its medical applications: as an insufflation agent in laparoscopic surgeries, as a contrast agent in Radiology, in CO2 laser, as a ventilation agent in surgeries, in the treatment of skull wounds and acute ulcers and chronic or in treatments of circulatory problems. Today, this treatment has been improved thanks to technology and brings results unimaginable a few years ago.

HOW DO WE APPLY CARBOXYTHERAPY?

Both cutaneous and subcutaneous administration of carbon dioxide and, thanks to this painless injection, a reaction is caused in the treated area, thus improving blood flow and improving oxygenation of the skin. Afterwards, the accumulated CO2, or that can be found in excess, is easily removed.

IS CARBOXYTHERAPY PAINFUL?

Treatment with carboxytherapy is not particularly painful since the prick or injection is performed with a micro-needle . In this way, the contact surface between the needle and the skin is reduced, minimizing the damage inflicted. The patient may only notice a slight stinging in the area of the puncture and a typical redness due to a slight perforation of the skin. In rare cases, a small bruise could occur in this area, so this could be considered a side effect.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

There are no specific risks associated with this type of treatment . CO2 injections have been tested in other types of treatments such as endoscopic surgeries of the abdomen or by direct application into the bloodstream for certain diagnostic or therapeutic procedures and have never generated any type of problem.

APP

Since its functions are to increase the flow of oxygenated blood in the injected region and increase the formation of collagen in the skin, favoring it with a smoother, smoother and more youthful look, the carboxytherapy treatment can be used against dark circles, on the face, on the neck, on the arms, on the stomach, on the legs or on the buttocks . Mainly carboxytherapy is used against cellulite, against fat reduction, against stretch marks and dark circles.

BENEFITS

Applying carbon dioxide under the skin has the following results against orange peel skin:

  • Blood circulation is improved.
  • Lymphatic circulation is improved.
  • The elasticity of the skin is improved and its sagging is reduced.
  • Orange peel is diminished.
  • The appearance of cellulite dimples is reduced.
  • Relieves symptoms of cellulite.

AGAINST CELLULITE

Carbon dioxide increases pH levels and causes a lack of oxygen supply in the treated area. The body reacts by dilating blood vessels to increase oxygen levels through the release of hemoglobin, thus activating metabolism. Finally, the carbon dioxide is transformed into active oxygen.

In this way, the fat cells are removed by mechanical effect and due to the improvement in circulation, the breakdown of the fat layer is accelerated. The increased supply of oxygen causes the oxidation of fatty acids causing a significant reduction in fat cells.

AGAINST STRIPES

Importantly, stretch marks are formed because the protein called collagen breaks down during skin tightening and changes in elastic fibers. Because CO2 favors collagen repair, carboxytherapy is the ideal treatment to reduce them.

AGAINST EYES

CO2 favors the improvement of the capillary network of the lower eyelids through a small injection of this substance. By improving this network and favoring oxygenation, the dark or bluish tone of the dark circles disappears to give way to more natural and reddish tones.
