Zoë Kravitz confesses that she drank milk like a cat for her Catwoman character

In addition, to get fully involved with Catwoman, the actress revealed that she was watching videos of cats to study their behavior.

On March 2, the new movie The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, premiered.

After the premiere of the film, the actors have been revealing details of what it was like to film in the midst of a pandemic, as well as how they prepared to play their characters.

In recent days, Zoë was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s show, to whom she revealed how she worked to bring Catwoman to life.

Without a doubt, one of the aspects that most drew attention to the preparation of the actress to be able to give life to the anti-heroine was that she came to drink milk as if she were a cat.

FROM ZOË TO CATWOMAN

Likewise, the interpreter explained that “It’s funny, they said: ‘Training at 1:30, and then rehearsal at this time, and then cat time’. I was like, ‘What’s cat time?’ And it was just putting me in a room with a bunch of cats, with the cats that were going to be my cats. But the cats didn’t care. I was sitting here, and the cats were just leaving.”

Kravitz also detailed what it was like to shoot the complicated action scenes with the cats, noting how difficult it was to get them to stay in one place after they heard all the noise.

“They were the hardest thing to control during the shooting. We were doing crazy stunts and everything was fine, but then making a cat stay in one place? Impossible”, commented the daughter of Lenny Kravitz.

In addition, to fully engage with Catwoman, the actress revealed that she was watching videos of cats to study their behaviour, and even decided to let her nails grow.

“What really interested me was the fact that you can’t read their (cats’) faces at all, which I think is one reason why people get scared because you can’t tell what they’re going to do,” he mentioned Zoë.
