Carrie Underwood hauled out Axl Rose for a performance of a Guns N’ Roses classic yesterday night (March 13) at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, following a surprising collaboration at the 2022 Stagecoach festival.
The couple sang “Welcome to the Jungle,” which Underwood has performed practically every night of her Denim & Rhinestones tour. This is fan-filmed footage of the cooperation.
Last April, Underwood and Rose played “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” at Stagecoach, and Guns N’ Roses reciprocated in July by bringing Underwood onstage to perform both songs at two London stadium gigs.
Rose battled with vocal troubles during the July 2 performance and stated that Underwood was “saving his ass” by singing some of the higher notes on “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”
Underwood is a self-avowed GNR fan, having abandoned her husband and children to attend the band’s reunion tour with estranged members Slash and Duff McKagan.
After her current tour concludes on Friday, she will resume her Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Casino on June 21 and will play additional dates there through the end of the year.
Guns N‘ Roses will return to the road this summer for a worldwide stadium and arena tour, commencing June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The band will also be one of the headliners at the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom in late June.
