The Pleasance Theatre Trust has released the first tickets for the Edinburgh Fringe 2023

The Pleasance Theatre Foundation has revealed the first official on-sale dates for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023, which will include theatre, comedy, circus, and family productions.

TONY! [The Tony Blair Rock Opera], a new musical written by Harry Hill and Steve Brown, will be performed at Pentland Theatre as part of its UK tour.

Undoctored -This is Going to Hurt…More by Adam Kay will return to the Fringe with tales from Adam’s time on and off the hospital, which he has adapted into a book and a TV show.

If You Can’t Say Anything Nice, Chloe Petts’ 2022 Fringe and Soho Theatre sell out premiere, will also be performed. The Guinness World Record-breaking song and comic show Newsrevue will return to the Edinburgh Fringe, allowing fans to chuckle at the stage’s parody politicians and famous figures.

Diana: The Untold and False Tale will feature drag, multimedia, audience participation, puppetry, and queer delight. In addition, following sold-out engagements in 2018 and 2019, one-man show In Loyal Company returns to Edinburgh.

The performance, written and sung by his great nephew David William Bryan, relates the true story of missing WWII soldier Arthur Robinson. Paul Merton’s widely regarded improvisation piece Impro Chums returns to the Pleasance after three years away.

Shit-faced Shakespeare, the smash success, multi-sold-out Fringe phenomenon, is coming to the Fringe as well, this year reimagining Romeo and Juliet with a drunk cast member. Showstoppers, the Olivier Award-winning West End musical!

The Musical will also be back for another year. Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe will mark its 30th anniversary this year, featuring seven excellent shows every day in a 90-minute lunchtime presentation. Additional events will be announced in the coming months, as will funding for imaginative newcomers through the Pleasance’s artist development strand, Pleasance Futures.
