The Mandalorian season 3: this is everything we know so far

The Book of Boba Fett only left us wanting the third season of The Mandalorian more. Here we gather all the information available about its premiere

Enough weeks have passed since the closing of this curious experience that turned out to be The Book of Boba Fett. Where opinions may be mixed in various aspects. But almost everyone reaches the same conclusion: we urgently need the premiere of the third season of The Mandalorian.

This series has represented the spearhead that has given new life to the Star Wars franchise, respecting the basic essence of that universe and achieving much more solid, faithful and worthy stories than the most recent trilogy.

In the end, The Book of Boba Fett feels like the prelude to the third season of this bounty hunter series and we can’t help but wonder: When will it finally arrive? Here we try to answer this and other questions.

The third season of The Mandalorian would arrive soon

Time is relative for everyone. What may seem like a short period of time to some may seem like an eternity to others.

And it seems that in times after the arrival of Covid-19, that spectrum becomes even more disparate when it comes to the time it takes for each new production to be released.

In the case of the third season of The Mandalorian, there is no official or precise information on when it will be released, but we are certain that it will be through Disney Plus.

In fact, the guys from TV Line assure that this new series of episodes would begin to be released this same 2022 on the final stretch, in time for the traditional Christmas season.

Pedro Pascal would return to his role as Din Djarin, The Mandalorian himself, and Grogu-Baby Yoda would once again form an important part of the plot from what we saw at the close of The Book of Boba Fett.

Given the decision that the young Padawan made in the end, there is a possibility that we may even see Luke Skywalker again, although no firm leak has emerged on this possibility.

Either way, Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) is confirmed to reappear as the main antagonist along with perhaps another character from the animated sagas.

Carl Weathers will return to play his role as Greef Karga, while Katee Sackhoff will repeat again as Bo-Katan in the third season.

The big question now is whether or not we will see Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson). To be frank, the chances are high as his own spin-off series is coming up.
