Café con Aroma de Mujer: William Levy is happy and grateful for the success on Netflix

The controversy surrounding the separation of William Levy and the mother of his children Elizabeth Gutiérrez, her attack on Jacky Bracamonte and the success of the Netflix series, Café con Aroma de Mujer, have placed the actor in the eye of the hurricane.

It has been turbulent weeks for Levy, who has continued his professional and family life, despite the criticism he has received from various celebrities who describe him as an unfaithful man.

In his Instagram stories, he proudly shared with his thousands of fans that Café Con Aroma de Mujer was still in the Top 10 globally since the series premiered on the Netflix platform.

“And we are still in the Top 10 global since we came out on Netflix. Thank you my beautiful people. Thank you God”, he wrote extremely grateful in his stories.

One novel, several versions

This series, which has been on Netflix since December and stars Levy, Laura Londoño and Carmen Villalobos, is a new version of the 1994 soap opera of the same name created by Fernando Gaitán.

This telenovela already had two popular adaptations made in Mexico with the titles When you are mine and Destilando amor.

“I can only say millions of thanks for all the love, thanks for making Café con Aroma de Mujer the most watched #netflix show in all of Latin America and Spain,” Levy wrote a few days after the series came out on the digital platform.

The months go by and Café con Aroma de Mujer continues to be among the most watched series on the platform in different countries around the world, including Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela.

This achievement for the Cuban actor is above any controversy and he has happily and gratefully boasted about it on his social networks. “Thank you from the whole team, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Levy stressed.

The controversy of their breakup

Despite the controversy, a few days ago Elizabeth Gutiérrez herself raised her voice to defend the father of her children and asked the press not to rage against him in such an unfair way.

“There is no culprit in this situation! I am not happy about attacks on his person. I don’t appreciate it! He is the father of my children, the most important man! ”, He wrote in his networks.

The 41-year-old American actor and model of Cuban origin published a message announcing their separation, which he deleted shortly after.

“We want to let you know that after thinking it over, we have decided to end our relationship. But we will continue to be the beautiful family that we are and the best parents for our children. That will never change.”
