Taylor Hawkins: confirmed to have died of a drug overdose

According to the official statement from the Attorney General’s Office, the famous Foo Fighters drummer, Oliver Taylor Hawkins, died this Friday, March 25, due to an overdose of heroin mixed with antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids. The prosecuting body confirmed that 10 types of substances were found in the musician’s body.

Forensic tests that were performed on Hawkins’ body also reportedly came back positive for marijuana. In addition, that in total in the toxicological test about 10 types of psychoactive substances were reported.

Likewise, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that Legal Medicine is conducting medical studies to clarify the facts and determine what led to the musician’s death.
