
Olivia Rodrigo accepts the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album
Young revelation Olivia Rodrigo heads to the 2022 Grammys ceremony on April 3 with every chance of having one of the biggest nights of her career.
And is that the singer and actress arrives at the gala nominated in seven categories, including three of the most important with Album of the year for “Sour”, as well as Record of the Year and Song of the year with her hit “Drivers License”.
Additionally, Rodrigo is the favorite to win the Best New Artist category, almost ensuring she will walk away with at least one Grammy from the experience.
In addition to the awards already mentioned, Olivia Rodrigo is nominated for the categories of Best Pop Vocal Album – again for “Sour”-; Best Pop Solo Vocal Performance for “Drivers License” and Best Music Video for “Good 4 U”.
With chances in all of those categories, Olivia Rodrigo is matching artists like Billie Eilish this year at this year’s Grammys. She is second only to well-known musicians like Jon Batiste with 11 nominations, as well as Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and HER with eight nominations each.
Receiving awards is not the only thing that Olivia Rodrigo will do at Sunday’s ceremony and the artist has a presentation scheduled for the gala, in which musicians such as Billie Eilish, J Balvin, and the Korean band BTS will also perform.
