Season 4 of Stranger Things has made Netflix cry: It was wild

There are few chapters left of the world Del Revés, but what remains is the great final fireworks. Season 4 of Stranger Things will premiere its last two episodes on July 1 and, after that, the steps will be directed towards the fifth and final installment. An event that is expected with the same expectation as sadness, since it will mean the final goodbye to the Hawkins boys.

On Netflix, the commotion is beginning. The Duffer Brothers, creators of the series, have already presented their idea for the next season and, according to what they have told The Wrap themselves, they made company executives cry.

The response of the company’s executives is not only related to what happens in the plot, but it also has sentimental implications. “It’s not just about the story, it’s about the fact that ‘Oh my gosh, this has defined so much of our lives, these people from Netflix who have been with us since the beginning, 7 years ago . ‘ hard to imagine the journey ending,” says Ross Duffer.

The Duffers work one season at a time, and since they’re still finalizing the fourth installment, they haven’t had to get to work on the new batch of episodes yet. They have no choice but to get down to it soon, but it will be a difficult stage. “We wrote it during the pandemic, the outline of season 5, and then I haven’t looked at it anymore because it’s overwhelming. We’ll get to it later,” says the creator.

Few details are known about it, but the Duffers compare the ending of StrangerThings to Return of the Jedi. “Not in tone,” they say, “I think people will understand what I’m talking about when they see the end of this season. It’s as if we left,” confesses Matt Duffer, to which his partner Ross adds: ” There is a lot of preparation in each season and the fifth is going to hit the gas from the first scene . At least that’s what I remember of the scheme”.

We still don’t know what will happen at the end of the fourth installment, so it is difficult to guess before the next season. What is clear is that Stranger Things has many open plots right now. After a heart-stopping finale, all viewers are eager to know what the next episode of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown ) is and what will happen in Hawkins from now on. We’ll find out on July 1, when the last two episodes of season 4 premiere on Netflix.
