One of the reasons for the surprise is that February 27 coincided with the final chapter of Trigger Point, considered one of the most popular series in the United Kingdom.
In the viewing analysis, the BBC reported that the 3.8 million people who saw the first episode of the sixth season are the same numbers that were reflected in the last episode of the last fifth. What is certain is that the current numbers will rise because the reproductions that will be made on a deferred basis have not been counted.
Warning, spoilers! The great uncertainty was how they would address the absence of the endearing Aunt Polly in the last season, since unfortunately in the past 2020 the actress who played that role, Hellen McCrory, lost her life to cancer.
