Mauricio Ochmann recounts that drug traffickers intercepted him after recording the Netflix series El Chema

Aislinn Derbez’s ex-husband said that “El Patron” wanted to meet him.

Mauricio Ochmann confessed that after recording the successful series “El Chema” he was intercepted by members of organized crime.

It was during an interview with Yordi Rosado on his YouTube channel, where the protagonist of the series “El Chema” said that the leader of a cartel “took him” from a highway to greet him and talk.

They intercepted me on a highway. The one who was driving knew, they were taking me to an event from one place to another after passing two, three checkpoints, he told me: ‘I’m going to fill the gas.’ On a 45-minute drive, I asked him, ‘Why didn’t you put gas in? And he answered me: ‘He didn’t give me time,’ ” said Mauricio Ochmann.

Aislinn Derbez ‘s ex-husband recalled that at that moment the driver signalled to another man who touched his car window and told him that his employer wanted to meet him, so seeing no other option, he got out of the car.

“No way, let’s meet the boss!”, he said as he walked to meet the leader of a criminal organization.

The 44-year-old actor narrated that he had just taken a few steps when seven trucks were placed around him.

“The real ones get out [of the car], the boss gives me a hug. [And he says to me:] ‘Sorry that we had to intercept you like that, but how else do we know you?’ [he said] chattering. Fortunately, they behaved very well,” he added.

Mauricio Ochmann explained that at that time he did not know who those drug traffickers were until he searched the Internet and saw that they had already killed the “Patron”.

“Then I say: ‘Imagine if that dispute had occurred that day,’ ” he concluded.

MAURICIO OCHMANN LEAVES THE SERIES FOR THIS REASON

The actor gave life to the drug trafficker El Chema Venegas in the Netflix series, but due to his experience and the bad example he was leaving for the new generations, he decided to withdraw from the project.
