Kim Kardashian has begun her experimental fashion period with Pete Davidson

She’s experimenting with different looks, and we’re thrilled for her!

Kim Kardashian has evolved into a constant chameleon as a result of her outfit.

She transitioned from her closet-cleaning phase to the Keeping Up With the Kardashian years wearing a bandage dress at a time, and her love with Kanye West brought forth a plethora of outfit changes.

The reality television star-turned-business entrepreneur chose Balenciaga and disguised ensembles as a sartorial palette cleanser during the last year when she was unmarried.

She started dating Pete Davidson in October 2021, and it seems like she’s moving into a new chapter of her style: her experimental phase.

Since moving in with Davidson a few months ago, Kardashian has been alternating between her figure-hugging outfits and more eclectic, playful, and even casual ensembles. Davidson is a comedian who prefers to live in sweatpants and hoodies.

After all, Davidson is a comedian with a laid-back attitude and a point of view (and a stylist, Britt Theodora).

He often wears a variety of outfits:

Look at the outfit he chose for his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: a cat-print T-shirt from the Vampire’s Wife, a purple knit cardigan, and floral-print jeans.

Davidson may not be revolutionising the fashion industry, but the Kardashians’ world could benefit from his upbeat and liberated sense of style.

After all, Kardashian has been experimenting with print combinations more and more.

Kardashian didn’t exactly dress for comfort when she arrived at the Balenciaga fall 2022 show in March wearing a bodysuit covered in yellow caution tape.

She wore a flame-print turtleneck, ketchup-red Santa boots, a wrap-leather skirt that matched, leather gloves, a furry Balenciaga bag, and sunglasses last week.

It produced an image that went viral in the atmosphere.

Both looks struck her as a more daring departure from the tabula rasa Balenciaga catsuits she had been donning the months before her separation.

Now, we saw Kardashian leaving the house in outfits that could only be characterized as well-groomed but odd.

While dinner with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez and going out with Davidson, Kardashian adopted a more relaxed look by wearing loose denim jeans and a button-up, channelling a rough Canadian tuxedo.

Blue Uncle Paulie’s sweatshirt, jeans, and Converse were Davidson’s footwear choices.

It seemed laid-back and even typical; maybe it wasn’t even designed with paparazzi in mind.

Kardashian traded in her Yeezys for modest Vans, the current trend in footwear.

As usual, a couple’s clothing gives away the state of their relationship.

Couples often naturally acquire characteristics from one other’s clothing, regardless of personal preference.

Kardashian’s style has been significantly influenced by West, although she is no longer with him and is open to other inspirations.

And though Kardashian hasn’t necessarily absorbed overt cues from Davidson’s style, his presence is certainly there in her clothes. The Hollywood set is known for having that rub-off effect.

David and Victoria Beckham wore matching leather sets in the early 2000s, and Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow attended a red carpet premiere with the same “let me speak to the manager” haircut. Kourtney Kardashian, the sister of the Kardashians, often wears Travis Barker’s punk-influenced fashion on the red carpet and in daily life.

For Kardashian, she is left up to her own devices and is entering a try-everything phase, some of which incorporates Davidson’s curated eclectic lazy boy aesthetic. While there is a severe dichotomy with Kardashian’s choices, let’s applaud them. Ultimately she’s the one steering her style.
