Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson unexpectedly made their red carpet debut

Apparently they arrived an hour and a half late.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been all over the news, on social media, and in Staten Island since the beginning of their relationship, but they hadn’t yet stepped onto the red carpet as a couple…until now.

On April 30, the couple made a joint appearance on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where Davidson performed as Kardashian’s date at the Washington, DC event. The reality star shone in a Balenciaga gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Davidson wore a velvet Prada suit, a tight tie, sunglasses, and Vans. The feeling was very good.

The WHCD was introduced by Trevor Noah and President Joe Biden attended, along with various members of the media. According to People, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson entered the ballroom more than an hour and a half after dinner began, “as the catering staff struggled to serve the nearly 3,000 guests entrées.” The SNL star apparently didn’t take off her sunglasses.

Following the event, Kim Kardashian posted a series of photos with her boyfriend on Instagram, with the caption White House din. In the photos, the couple can be seen holding hands, sitting on a sofa, sticking out their tongues, and holding hands some more.

In late April, it was announced that Davidson’s life will serve as the inspiration for a new television show on Peacock created by and starring the comedian. Bupkis was described in a press release as ‘an augmented, fictionalized real-life version of Pete Davidson. The series will combine storytelling with absurd elements of the completely original, unfiltered worldview that Pete is well known for.”

If so, we can’t help but wonder who will take on the role of Kim K, who currently stars in her own Hulu reality series, The Kardashians (Davidson has yet to make an appearance on the series). Regardless of who lands the part, we bet the adventures of the WHCD would make perfect television.
