Keanu Reeves in talks to star in “The Devil in The White City” produced by Scorsese

Keanu Reeves is in negotiations to star in the adaptation “The Devil in The White City “, the famous 2003 novel by Erik Larson and which will be produced by Martín Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The duo has been working for years on the adaptation of the novel “El Diablo en la Ciudad Blanca (2003); For this, the Matrix actor is in the sights to play one of the main roles in history, a television project designed for the Hulu platform.

“The Devil in the White City” will be a miniseries produced by Scorsese and DiCaprio, and based on the eponymous book by Erik Larson, published in Spanish as ” The Devil in the White City” , the series tells the story of an architect and a Serial killer, whose fates are forever intertwined due to the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893.

PLOT OF THE NOVEL

Daniel H. Burnham is a great architect looking to make his mark on the world, while Henry H. Holmes is a handsome, rooster doctor who has designed his own castle of death at the fair.

The first serial killer builds a hotel full of traps, such as gas chambers or crematoriums, with the aim of attracting fair goers and assassinating them.
