The queen of outfit repetition has done it again. Kate Middleton has just returned to wearing a dress that she first wore in 2015, but with a slight twist.
Kate Middleton made a surprise appearance alongside her husband, Prince William, on Monday, April 25. Kate attended a service at Westminster Abbey to mark ANZAC Day, which is a national day of remembrance for New Zealand and Australia honoring the men who lost their lives in the First World War.
For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a cream Alexander McQueen wrap dress, the same one she wore to her daughter Princess Charlotte’s christening way back in 2015, which was almost seven years ago (in my mind, 2015 was last year).
In 2022, Kate wore the dress with a huge textured white headband that had a large black bow at the back of it. She paired it with black court shoes, pearl earrings, and a small black clutch.
Kate placed a red poppy of remembrance at the neck of the dress, which commemorates those who lost their lives in the war.
For her daughter’s christening in 2015, Kate wore the dress completely differently. She wore a white fascinator, white shoes, and a braided updo.
