Ben Affleck
This coming November 4, the movie “The Flash” opens, where we can see Ben Affleck playing Batman for the last time.
In recent days, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon had a conversation for “Entertainment Weekly”, where Ben talked about the reasons that made him leave the superhero, greatly influencing his friend Matt.
“I had a really horrible experience on Justice League for a variety of reasons. Without wanting to blame anyone, many things happened. But, really, he wasn’t happy anymore. I didn’t like being there. I didn’t think it was interesting. And then some really terrible things happened. Terrible. But, it was at that moment when I thought, I’m not going to do this anymore,” Affleck explained while hinting at Damon’s influence on his decision.
The actor also noted that “I want to do things that make me happy. Later we did ‘The Last Duel’ and I had fun every day with this movie. I wasn’t the star, I wasn’t likable, I was a villain, and I wasn’t everything I thought I was supposed to be when I started. And yet it was a wonderful experience. And it was all things that were coming up, I didn’t chase them.”
For his part, Matt will also appear in a superhero movie this year, in the film “Thor: Love and Thunder”, where he will play a false Loki.
Also, the protagonist of “Good Will Hunting” will work with Christopher Nolan for his next film, “Oppenheimer”, where he will share credits with Cillian Murphy.
