Yesterday, HBO Max premiered through its official YouTube channel the trailer for its next series, “ Peacemaker ”, so far exceeding 300 thousand views.
The future series has a release date scheduled for January 13, and in it, we can see John Cena giving life to “Peacemaker”, a very unusual superhero.
The trailer presents us with a very funny story full of action and with references to the DC universe, so it is inevitable to remember who would be his Marvel counterpart, “ Deadpool ”.
CHRISTOPHER SMITH’S FIRST APPEARANCE
Christopher Smith, the real name of the Superhero, made his first appearance in the Fightin ‘5 comics, within the 40th edition published in 1966, and a year later he would have his own story.
The first appearance of “Peacemaker” on the big screen was last year, in the film directed by James Gunn, ” The Suicide Squad “, so now his series will be the first set in the extended universe of DC.
This production will have 8 episodes, 5 of which were directed by James Gunn, who was also in charge of the adaptation of the story, based on the comic by Joe and Gill Pat Boyette.
