Grammy Awards 2022: Tony Succar looked elegant on the red carpet of the Person of the Year gala

The Peruvian percussionist and producer compete in the Best Latin Tropical Album category for his album Live in Perú.

Tony Succar, nominated for a Grammy in the Best Latin Tropical Album category for his album “Live in Peru”, walked the red carpet of the Person of the Year gala yesterday wearing an elegant black suit. The Peruvian percussionist and producer arrived in Las Vegas accompanied by his parents and his younger brother.

“What an honor to be here 🙏❤️  #RedCarpet #PersonOfTheYear @musicares @recordingacadem celebrating the life and music of the legend @jonimitchell,” the national artist wrote in a post he shared on Instagram.

The Person of the Year is presented by the MusiCares Foundation and is a lifetime achievement award, presented for a combination of inspiring artistic achievement and philanthropy. In addition, the traditional award ceremony raises funds for the programs of MusiCares, a charity of the Recording Academy that provides health and wellness services to musicians in need.
