The wedding of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will take place in Jaisalmer, at the Suryagarh Palace. In response to an Instagram post from a paparazzo announcing the wedding would take place on February 4-6, the historic hotel confirmed the same.

Situated in the middle of the Thar desert, the palace features ponds, a lake garden, an archery workshop, exotic royal suites, numerous cuisines, and views of the picturesque huge desolate terrain. For now, the hotel is not accepting reservations from February 4-11, suggesting that the visitors may extend their stay. For those attending a wedding in Jaisalmer, the hotel offers convenient air travel as well as a choice of two gardens and courtyards.

The hotel’s open-air Celebration Gardens include tasselled canopies and mattress-style seating for a traditional Indian meal. As they dine by the lakeside under the open sky and dim lighting, visitors at The Lake Gardens feel like they’ve stepped into a scene from a fantasy.

Candles and colorful flowers set the ambiance at this restaurant, which serves everything from regional specialties to roasted meats over charcoal.

Kiara Advani and Siddharth’s wedding is just the latest in a string of high-profile couples who have held their nuptials at Rajasthani forts. Neither the wedding date nor the location have been announced by Kiara and Sidharth. At least one hundred people are said to be invited to the wedding, including Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, and Mira Rajput. The Suryagarh Palace’s official Instagram account responded with “see you soon” when a paparazzo account revealed the event’s location and timing.
