The wedding of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will take place in Jaisalmer, at the Suryagarh Palace. In response to an Instagram post from a paparazzo announcing the wedding would take place on February 4-6, the historic hotel confirmed the same.

Situated in the middle of the Thar desert, the palace features ponds, a lake garden, an archery workshop, exotic royal suites, numerous cuisines, and views of the picturesque huge desolate terrain. Suryagarh Palace Jaisalmer responds to paparazzi post by confirming its status as wedding destination for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

For now, the hotel is not accepting reservations from February 4-11, suggesting that the visitors may extend their stay. For those attending a wedding in Jaisalmer, the hotel offers convenient air travel as well as a choice of two gardens and courtyards.

 

The Jaisalmer Haveli rooms, which are the largest at 1350 square feet, cost an average of 76000 per night. The cheapest rooms are the Fort Rooms, which cost between 23000 and 36000 per night depending on the day of the week.

The hotel’s open-air Celebration Gardens include tasselled canopies and mattress-style seating for a traditional Indian meal. As they dine by the lakeside under the open sky and dim lighting, visitors at The Lake Gardens feel like they’ve stepped into a scene from a fantasy.

Candles and colorful flowers set the ambiance at this restaurant, which serves everything from regional specialties to roasted meats over charcoal.

 

Kiara Advani and Siddharth’s wedding is just the latest in a string of high-profile couples who have held their nuptials at Rajasthani forts. Wedding venues have included the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, and most recently the Mundota Fort in Jaipur for Hansika Motwani and Sohael Kathuriya.

Neither the wedding date nor the location have been announced by Kiara and Sidharth. At least one hundred people are said to be invited to the wedding, including Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, and Mira Rajput. The Suryagarh Palace’s official Instagram account responded with “see you soon” when a paparazzo account revealed the event’s location and timing.
