Emma Mackey and Will Ferrell Join the Cast of Barbie Movie
Since the news broke that Warner Bros was preparing a live-action of the Barbie doll, the production has not stopped adding recognized actors.
The future film will star Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, who will give life to the legendary characters from Mattel, Barbie, and Ken.
In recent days “The Hollywood Reporter” announced the inclusion of two more stars in the cast of the film, so now we can also see Emma Mackey and Will Ferrell.
So far the role Emma will have in the film is unknown, while Will could play the CEO of a company responsible for manufacturing toys.
Likewise, the participation of Simu Liu and Kate McKinnon in the production has also been confirmed, which until now does not have a scheduled release date.
Greta Gerwig will be in charge of directing the film, in addition to writing the script with her husband, the filmmaker Noah Baumbach, with whom she has previously worked on several film projects.
