Rihanna reportedly ended her relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky just weeks after giving birth to her first child. This is confirmed by different media in the American press, which points to the possible infidelity of the musician as the origin of the alleged break.
Rumors indicate that the singer, 34, and the artist, 33, separated after images of him with another woman came to light. British newspaper The Sun reported that speculation abounds regarding an alleged meeting between A$AP and shoe designer Amina Muaddi, whom the “Umbrella” hitmaker previously hired to design shoes for her Fenty 2020 collection.
Fashion influencer Louis via Roma was the first to report on Rocky’s alleged infidelity. Through a post on social networks, the blogger claimed that Rihanna left her baby’s father after discovering that he cheated on her with whom she was her employee.
The American magazine XXL also claims that the couple was recently seen at a restaurant in Los Angeles, where the artist was seen crying at the table before leaving the establishment without A$AP.
After the rumor regarding the possible presence of a third party in the relationship between Rihanna and the rapper went viral, Muaddi came out to deny the situation: “I have always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social networks does not deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile,” the fashion guru first wrote. “At first I assumed that this fake gossip, fabricated with such malicious intent, would not be taken seriously. However, in the last 24 hours, I have been reminded that we live in a society that is very quick to talk about issues regardless of the factual basis and that nothing is off-limits. Not even during what should be one of life’s most beautiful and celebrated moments.”
Muaddi told her followers that she felt compelled to “speak out” because of the weight of the rumors. “The accusations were not only directed at me but are related to people that I respect and love very much,” she said.
It was also striking that the last publication that Amina, 35, shared on Instagram consisted of a series of snapshots of Rihanna in which she praised her style while pregnant.
Rihanna announced her status in late January via social media. The images that she posted quickly trended around the world and her fans were shocked by the news. The singer and A$AP Rocky met several years ago, but it wasn’t until the end of 2020 that they were shown together for the first time. Months later, more precisely in May 2021, he confirmed the romance. Almost a year after whitewashing the relationship, they surprised their fans with the news of the pregnancy.
In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, the artist said that although the arrival of a new member of the household was not something planned, she was not worried about that happening either. “Planning? I wouldn’t say planning. But certainly not planning against it. I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that shit. We just have fun. And then she was there on the pregnancy test, ”she pointed out in statements to the publication.
Just weeks away from giving birth, the music star and fashion entrepreneur doesn’t hide motherhood under baggy clothes but instead attended fashion weeks in Milan and Paris in a variety of outfits to show off her baby bump. “My body is doing amazing things right now and I’m not going to be ashamed of it. At this time we should celebrate, why should you hide your pregnancy? ”, She manifested proudly.
The interview and magazine cover features photos of Rihanna, 34, in a red lace full body suit complete with gloves and heels, in one of the many challenging designers looks she wore to enhance her pregnancy. In the report, the singer was honest, however, about her fear of the possibility of postpartum depression.
“Will I feel emotionally out of control? Those are the stories I hear from other women that scare me,” she specified. Along the same lines, she said that she wishes that all her closest loved ones could be in the maternity ward, but that seems unlikely under the current regulations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The artist did not reveal where she plans to give birth or when the birth is scheduled.
