Although it is true that for the end of the first season of “Oscuro Deseo” (‘Dark Desire’ in English), Netflix’s Mexican thriller starring Maité Perroni and Alejandro Speitzer, key information was revealed to close the story, the truth is that this is not over and both characters return to meet again in their story of codependency, crime and eroticism.
The second installment of the drama directed by Kenya Márquez and Epigmenio Ibarra was filmed in 2021, under the Covid-19 protocols, and so far, it has not been revealed how many episodes the series will have; although the first season had a total of 18 episodes.
In addition to the return of Maité Perroni (Alma), Alejandro Speitzer (Darío), Regina Pavón (Zoe), the Solares brothers, Erik Hayser (Esteban) and Jorge Poza (Leonardo) also return, as well as the actors Catherine Siachoque (Lys Antoine), Ariana Saavedra and Arturo Barba who join the new installment.
