Nick Jonas was born on 18 September 1988 (34 years) in the United States of America in Dallas, Texas. His real name was born Nicholas Jerry Jonas. He spent most of his childhood in Jersey, New Jersey, where he along with his brothers spent his childhood and learned music

For the first time, he discovered his singing talent when he went to his mother’s barbershop and sang there. His fascination for art and music took him to the theater during his school days. At the young age of 7, he made his Broadway appearance as Tiny Tim in Christmas Carol. And, at age 10, he wrote the song “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)” with his father.

Fortunately, Sony Music Entertainment’s record label Columbia Records noticed this and offered them the opportunity to release their first album at the age of 12. He got his first recording contract as a teenager, and in 2005, he formed a pop-rock band called the Jonas Brothers with his older brothers. The Jonas Brothers released their debut album It’s About Time in 2006, but did not achieve the expected success. The following year, their album titled The Jonas Brothers was released which became a huge hit. Over the next few years, the band released two more albums—A Little Bit Launder (2008), and Lines, Wine and Trying Times (2009), and sold over 17 million albums globally.
