Roberto Galan
Roberto Galán Fernández, a famous bullfighter, passed away this morning at the age of 39 in the La Asunción facility in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The bullfighter from Madrid succumbed to cancer, which he battled for the last few years of his life and which kept him out of the spotlight.
After being taken over by ngel Castro and ngel Matilla, Roberto Galán, who was born in Madrid on October 22, 1981, retired from bullfighting.
The bullfighter made an appearance in Las Ventas on June 8, 2003, where he successfully severed the ear of an El Serrano bull. To follow up on his performance at the Monumental in Madrid, Galán discussed it in an interview he gave to Mundotoro the day after that crucial afternoon.
In San Miguel el Alto (Mexico) on September 29, 2009, Galán fought against bulls from Chinampas and San Isidro after a career as a bullfighter. Fernando Ochoa stepped in as an alternate sponsor, with Arturo Macas serving as a witness.
The man from Madrid received a standing ovation when he came to La México on December 30, 2012 to validate an alternative in a poster produced by Israel Téllez and Lupita López using cattle from Vistahermosa. Roberto Galán built the foundations of his professional and private lives in the Aztec nation.
We at Mundotoro are deeply saddened by his passing and wish to express our sincere sympathies to his loved ones. D.E.P
