According to wedding planners, Nicola Peltz‘s wedding to David and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn Beckham, was going to be canceled because Peltz was acting particularly difficult and she requested details of the event to be concealed from her famous mother-in-law.
A $50,000 lawsuit has been filed against Nicola Peltz and others. Nicol Braghin and Arianna Grijalba have filed a 188-page complaint against Nicola, her mother Claudia, and wedding designer Rishi Patel, seeking $50,000 in damages and additional fees.
Nelson Peltz, Nicola’s father, sued the planners, seeking a refund of their $160,000 deposit for allegedly making numerous faults in the Peltzes’ Florida home.
The situation was described as a “s**tshow,” and they were on the verge of canceling the event due to “mistakes” made by the planning party, who also referred to Nelson as a “billionaire bully.”
Victoria Beckham was not made aware of any of this material. In the lawsuit brought by Nicola, she alleges that she spent around $100,000 on hair and make-up alone and she had a huge list of extremely precise demands and complaints, she even accused them of obtaining flowers that “we’re not white enough”.
The wedding planners took over the project from another team and completed it in significantly less time than was required for this type of event. The wedding planning contract said that Victoria Beckham could not be made aware of any details.
The paper adds that “both Claudia and Nicola had argued that Victoria Beckham could not know about any internal faults involving the continued planning of her son’s wedding, including any errors with the guest list,” according to the Sun, who broke the news.
Nicola Peltz stated that there is no feud between her and her famous mother-in-law and that everything is well; however, instead of wearing a VB design for her wedding gown, Peltz chose a Valentino choice, which was supposedly not well received. Nicola later asserted that “there is no conflict” but also said that “no family is perfect”.
