Shilpa Shetty is yet to get clean chit in the case, crime branch is scrutinizing Raj Kundra’s bank accounts

Forensic auditors have been appointed by the Mumbai Crime Branch to probe the financial transactions and bank accounts of businessman Raj Kundra, arrested in the pornography case. This information has been given by an officer of Mumbai Police on Tuesday. He has also told that Kundra’s wife Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has also not been given any clean chit in this matter so far.

Money was deposited in Kundra’s bank accounts from abroad, the deposit
Officer said, “The bank accounts that are under investigation in the case also include a joint account of Raj Kundra’s ‘Vian Industries’. This company of Raj is also pornographic.” The racket is under investigation and Shilpa Shetty was the director in it. Kundra has some bank accounts in which money was deposited from abroad.”

Shilpa is yet to get the clean chit in this case. The
Official further said, “So far the investigators have not detected the flow of money in any bank account operated by Shilpa Shetty. This is part of the investigation and analysis of the accounts is going on.” Shilpa is yet to get any clean chit in this matter. We have nothing to do with any private bank accounts.”

Raj Kundra was arrested by the Crime Branch on July 19 for allegedly making obscene films and publishing them through apps. The police had told the magistrate court that businessman Raj Kundra had earned at least Rs 1.17 crore from his business of production and online distribution of pornographic films between August and December last year. In this case, the magistrate court has now sent Kundra to judicial custody for 14 days.

Raj Kundra’s bail application will be heard today. In
this case, a bail application has been filed on behalf of Raj Kundra in Mumbai’s Esplanade Court (Fort Court). He is to be heard today. His lawyer argues that the Mumbai Police has questioned Raj several times. Even further they will be present when called, so there is no point in keeping them in the police station. Raj is currently in judicial custody for 14 days. Raj was arrested on July 19 for making a porn film. After this, on July 20, the court sent him to police custody till July 23, which was later extended till July 27.
