Amber Heard affirmed that she will continue to love Johnny Depp with all her heart

American actress Amber Heard has spoken out after losing her libel trial over the article that cost the Pirates of the Caribbean star her career, saying she behaved “horribly.”

After the American Justice determined that he defamed Johnny Depp with the article in The Washington Post where he accused him of domestic violence, causing a serious blow to his career and public image that left him expelled from Hollywood for years, Amber Heard affirmed that he still she “absolutely” loves her ex-husband.

Heard, whose 15-month marriage to Depp officially ended in divorce in January 2017, made her first statement after the controversial libel trial that ended in Depp’s victory on June 1. In a preview of the interview that will be released in full this Friday, the actress was questioned about her feelings for the protagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean.

” On the first day of the trial you issued a statement, and part of the statement said: ‘I still love Johnny’. Is it still true? “Asked the interviewer. ” Yes “, replied Heard, who maintained that despite everything she does not have negative feelings towards the actor. ” Absolutely. I love him. I love him with all my heart,” Heard said. ” And I did my best to make a deeply broken relationship work. And I couldn’t.”

The actress also referred to her own behavior during the relationship with Depp, and the evidence of the abuse that she executed towards him, acknowledging that ” I did and said horrible and unfortunate things throughout my relationship. I behaved in a horrible way, almost unrecognizable to myself. Lots of regrets.”

“I talked freely, openly, and willingly about what I did. I talked about horrible language, I talked about being pressured to the point where I didn’t even know the difference between right and wrong. It was very, very toxic. We were horrible to each other.” the other. I made a lot of mistakes, a lot of mistakes,” Heard assured.

Despite her regret over the ” horrible language ” she directed towards Depp, Heard was adamant in her denial of the verdict reached by the Fairfax, Virginia jury. The actress said she would stand by the testimony she gave in court until the ” day she died,” even though the jury found in Depp’s favor and found a column he wrote about domestic abuse defamatory, after hearing six weeks of evidence.

She also maintained that her column was not about her ex-husband, but about the ” great cultural conversation ” surrounding the #MeToo movement at the time. ” The op-ed wasn’t about my relationship with Johnny,” she said. “What the op-ed was about was me lending my voice to a larger cultural conversation we were having at the time.” She said that she never wanted Depp to be “written off ” and lose her career over the article. “Of course not. It wasn’t about him.”
