The Galaxy A family of phones has become Samsung’s main bet in the mid-range. In this sense, the South Korean firm is about to launch its new mobile Galaxy A73, whose first image has just been filtered through PhoneArena.
It’s expected to arrive soon and its first photo reveals an Infinity-O display, super slim bezels on all sides, and a visible protruding power key on the side, confirming the AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner underneath.
The display looks quite similar to the Galaxy A72 predecessor, as well as the previously leaked Galaxy A53. However, there are minor differences in proportion, which means the Galaxy A73 will be slightly larger than its A50-series sibling.
Samsung already held two Unpacked events this year, but neither of them featured Galaxy A smartphones. The A50 and A70 series usually arrive together, so the next generation is likely to follow suit. Given how often we see leaks, it is possible that the launch of the Galaxy A73 and the Galaxy A53, its smaller brother, will happen in the coming weeks.
This smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with a 25W fast charge, which will provide this mid-range smartphone with great autonomy and performance.
