Microsoft Surface Pro 8
Microsoft has been attempting to create a hardware presence and now sells a series of products under the Surface name. It just announced the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Go 3, both of which are now available in new configurations.
The Redmond-based technology giant has begun selling LTE-enabled versions of the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Go 3 in the United States.
Prior to the introduction of these LTE-capable versions, the devices were exclusively available in Wi-Fi-only configurations. Along with the debut of the new models, Microsoft is introducing a Matte Black colour option for the Surface Pro 8.
The freshly released models are available for purchase straight from the Microsoft Store. The Surface Pro 8 is available in both Intel Core i5 and Core i7 configurations, but appears to be limited to the Platinum colour choice.
At the moment, only the Business edition appears to support LTE, and it is unclear whether the consumer-oriented version will support this additional connection function or not.
Pricing for the Microsoft Surface 8 Pro with LTE connectivity begins at $1,350 for the base configuration with an Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. On the other side, the Surface Go 3 with LTE capability costs $730 and is equipped with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD storage.
