MediaTek launches the Dimensity 920: learn the characteristics of the new processor

MediaTek has launched its Dimensity 920. The SoC is ready to conquer the smartphone market. The 5G compatible chip offers many upgrades, as well as improved performance to mid-range mobiles that will incorporate this processor in 2022.

The MediaTek Dimensity 920 is a fully loaded SoC and has everything it takes to deliver top-notch performance not only for everyday tasks but also for gaming. Based on the 6nm production process, this chipset offers improved performance and lower power consumption.

The octa-core processor built into this chip houses two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2GHz.

The chipset’s powerful ARM Mali-G68 GPU also plays an important role in gaming. Gaming is further enhanced by the presence of MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 technology in this chipset.

Speed ​​is also a priority in every other aspect of the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. Provides support for the fastest UFS 3.1 storage and integrates LPDDR5 memory.
