Instagram is rolling out the Live Moderators option, which allows content creators to add moderators during live broadcasts through Instagram Live.
With this option, moderators will be able to report comments, remove viewers from the stream, or disable comments from those they deem inappropriate or harmful.
To assign moderators, content creators can choose from those on the list of suggested accounts or use the search option to choose a specific account.
Likewise, as indicated by the company through Twitter, they will be able to select those users who are part of the direct, clicking on their names.
Then, a menu is displayed that includes several options, such as ‘report a comment’, ‘remove from direct’ or ‘deactivate your comments’, as well as follow that user or reply to him.
The social network introduced Instagram Live in December 2016, an option that allows multiple users to view streaming content simultaneously.
The number of viewers depends on the type of account from which the broadcast is made. If the account is private, only those people who have been previously accepted by the administrator can access it. On the contrary, live broadcasts made from public accounts can be seen by all Instagram users who want it.
