Honor confirms that the Magic UI 6.0 interface will come to the Honor 50 series
Honor, the tech brand, has announced on its community blog the release of Magic UI 6.0 for the Honor 50 Series. Inspired by Android 12, Magic UI 6.0 is the custom interface developed independently by the Chinese company. This system offers significant artificial intelligence (AI) software features and optimizations including Efficient Smart Desktop and HonorShare.
It is now known that Magic UI 6.0 will be available on the Honor 50 from the second quarter of 2022 and on the Honor50 Lite via an Over the Air (OTA) update in the third quarter of this year.
Thus, with the Efficient Smart Desktop feature, Magic UI 6.0 allows users to customize and resize widgets on their screen and access information without opening apps. Also, it lets more apps stay active in the background, compared to the previous interface. Another innovative option is Honor Share, with which various files can be transferred between an Honor smartphone and an Honor Computer Manager compatible PC.
Unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2022, along with the latest Honor products, the Honor 50 offers a multi-camera setup with more flexibility to record content from different angles and perspectives.
The Honor 50 features an ultra-thin bezel on the front and 2.5D polished glass edges on the top and bottom of the screen: a smooth and comfortable surface for users.
