On the other hand, in the mobile games section, Pokémon UNITE took the title of the best game of 2021.
Google took the opportunity to shift the spotlight to the independent developers who have shone for the past year. For example, George Batchelor was highlighted, who launched Bird Alone, a game whose mission is to make you friends with the ‘loneliest bird in the world’.
