The Russian agency Sputnik accused Alberto Fernández of betraying Vladimir Putin

The Sputnik propaganda agency accused the president, Alberto Fernández, of “betraying” his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, after the president’s criticism of the invasion of Ukraine at a press conference given with German Foreign Minister Olaf Scholz. as part of his tour of Europe.

In the letter, the agency criticizes the actions of the Argentine official. “The level of betrayal by the Argentine president towards his Russian counterpart is beyond doubt,” the article states.

The note assures that Russia was “the great help of Argentina by supplying Sputnik V vaccines to combat the pandemic”, and criticizes the meeting of the Argentine president with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and for having promoted the expulsion of Russia from the Council of Rights Humans.

“The president of a country with 37.3% of the population living below the poverty line and where many millions do not have access to food, intends to sell food to Germany,” questions the publication.

He also criticizes the president for offering the country an alternative to Russian gas: “On the other hand, Fernández offers him gas from Vaca Muerta, which he defined as ‘the second most important unconventional gas reserve’ in the world.”

A doctor in Political Science, Bruno Lima Rocha Beaklini, added that “he cannot explain” the president’s actions. “I don’t understand those things.
