He stabs his wife and kills himself: in a letter the reasons for the gesture

The lifeless bodies of two spouses, Flora Mattucci aged 72, and Franco Gellussich aged 73, were in fact found inside their home. On the spot, the carabinieri and the forensics agents are trying to reconstruct the incident. The privileged hypothesis is that of murder-suicide since the woman was found lying in her marriage bed with an evident wound in the abdomen (the knife, as a murder weapon, was then found lying right next to the bed) unlike her husband hanging in the garage at home.

The alarm was raised by the 35-year-old daughter, who hadn’t heard from her parents for a few days and who for this reason went to their home yesterday to check, but was faced with a chilling scene. Thus, once the news was received, the firefighters intervened on the spot together with the police and the Public Prosecutor. Therefore, the intervention of the Sum 118 health workers who could not help but ascertain the death of the two spouses, perhaps even dating back to a few days ago, is useless. The possible presence of letters or farewell tickets was not disclosed.
